“Monsters Only Show at Night.”

An angel in the day, she smiles with pearly whites.
A voice that could calm demons, and skin pale as porcelain.
With thoughts that could scare Satan himself.

Date me.
Take me.
Emancipate me.
From my body, my flesh, my mind.
Cut me open and look inside.
Beware of the demons that hide.
Cold lips pressed against warm skin.
You look at me with eyes, desire to sin.
And kiss me with lips made of a devilish grin.
Tell me to take all that is mine.
A body so supple,  so gentle, so kind.
To not tame this devil, would surely be crime.
Forgive me, lord, for this sinful sight.
Look away, please don’t look, divert your eyes.
There’s no need, no need to see monsters, playing at night.

Maybe if we pool our despair together, it won't seem so bad.
